We're having a special Centerpiece Contest this year!

There will be about 35 tables set out for each day of the Literary Luncheons and we need an inspiring centerpiece decoration for each one. Using the round cardboard from a large pizza box as the limit of the width of your centerpiece, you can make your own creative design. We ask that you keep to a literary theme. It could be about an author, a single book, a book series, a fictional place, a favorite character ~ whatever seems like a winning approach! Please register in advance so we know how many entries to expect. Just send an email to FRC@FRC.info to let us know you are planning to enter the contest. Entries should be submitted on Friday, September 19 before 10:00am (see FRC staff at the registration and check-in table that morning). Our Luncheon Guests will vote for their favorite centerpeice and the top five winners will receive a $50.00 Gift Certificate to Barnes & Noble Book Store! The winners will be announced on Saturday, September 20 at 2:30pm in the Federal Room.

Join us at noon on each day of the Expo event as a distinguished diner at our Literary Luncheon. Our special guest on Friday will none other than "Sherlock Holmes" and on Saturday we'll meet the "Mad Hatter"! All in good fun, we'll entertain and excite your students about reading. Attendees will receive reading resources and information about reading incentive programs you can take advantage of throughout the year.
