FRC Members can earn a
FREE ADMISSION to a SIX FLAGS THEME PARK
for students grades K-6!
The Family Resource Center is taking part in an exciting program that's designed to reward your kids for FUN READING! It's the Read to Succeed 6 Hour Reading Club. Every student who reads for 6 hours will earn a coupon good for free admission to a Six Flags Theme Park. It's easy and it doesn't cost a thing!
Here's how it works:
FRC Members in grades K to 6 are eligible to join our club.
Registration is simple:
Download the 6-HOUR READING CLUB STUDENT TALLY SHEET. You need at least one page PER student. Use the Tally Sheet to write down all the things he or she reads, and the number of minutes your child spends reading. Then date and initial each reading session.
Make sure your child reads for at least 6 Hours by February 6, 2009.
Reading needs to be complete by February 6, 2009. You need to turn all Tally Sheets ALONG WITH A SELF ADDRESSED STAMPED NUMBER 10 ENVELOPE (BUSINESS LETTER SIZE) to the FRC by February 13, 2009. We cannot register the student to receive the free Six Flags Admission Ticket without the envelope and the tally sheet - No exceptions will be made. Reading to complete school assignments doesn't count for the 6 Hour Reading Club. But, any other reading-books,comic books, magazines, newspapers, you name it-counts, provided it's recreational reading.
You can read to your child, your child can read aloud to you, or your child can read alone; it all counts toward the 6 Hour Reading Club.
If your child completes 6 Hours of reading and turns in the Tally Sheets and Self Addressed Stamped Envelope on time, he or she will receive a coupon good for 1 free admission to the Six Flags Theme Park near your home! The tickets will be valid for park admission from mid June, 2009 to early August 2009 only (specific dates printed on your ticket).
Every qualifying student who completes 6 Hours of reading will earn a free-admission ticket!
There are no obligations, and there is no cost to you!
We receive the tickets from Six Flags around the first of June - we send you the tickets on the same day in the envelope you sent us.

Eligibility: FRC Members only. Children in kindergarten (5 years old by September of current year) through 6th grade are eligible to join the 6 Hour Reading Club.
